Branch AGM and Conferences

Branch 1 achieved a significant milestone by hosting its 2nd Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 27, 2023, centred around the theme “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Engineering.” The event garnered distinguished guests, including the President, Ing. Kwabena Bempong, the Vice President, Ing. Sophia Abena Tijani (who served as the chairperson for the occasion), and Ing. Eric Badu, the Executive Secretary of the Ghana Engineering Council (GEC), who graced the event as the guest of honour. The attendees represented a diverse spectrum of professionals, including engineers, artisans, and students hailing from the Ashanti Region and its surrounding areas. The event took place at the Regional Water and Environmental Sanitation Centre Kumasi (RWESCK) Building, situated on the KNUST Kumasi campus. The venue provided a conducive environment for meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking among participants, furthering the goals of innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of engineering.
