The Engineering X team will host this latest webinar to hear about innovative initiatives in humanitarian engineering, and how increasing local engineer’s skills in disaster preparedness, response and recovery can enhance the safety and resilience of affected communities. This webinar will reflect on learning from recent efforts to better support and empower local engineers, including ensuring their own safety and security in challenging environments. This includes stories from a long-term project in Uganda funded by Engineering X Skills for Safety programme, ongoing efforts in Türkiye and Syria, as well as a new initiative focusing on infrastructure reconstruction in Ukraine.
