The Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) inducted 42 members into the Occupational Group of Professional Engineers at the RWESCK building in KNUST on Monday June 20, 2022.
The inductees included 16 from the Electrical/ Electronic Technical Division, 13 from the Civil Technical Division, 5 from the Chemical/ Mining Technical Division, and 8 from Mechanical Technical Division.

The Immediate Past President, Ing. Leslie Ayeh advised the engineers to carry out their mandate to impact society.
“We need to be able to improve upon the things we came to meet. What’s your role in transforming society? The challenge is on us to ensure we become game-changers,”.
The Executive Director, Ing. David Nyante, admonished the engineers to produce local materials to lessen the nation’s dependency on foreign products.
