The swearing in of Ing. Prof Samuel Innocent Kofi Ampadu, FGhIE as the 43rd president of the Ghana Institution of Engineers took place during the Presidential Inauguration and Gala Banquet held at Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra on March 31, 2012 to round off the activities of the 2012 Engineering Week Celebration.The 2012 Engineering Week Celebration was held under the theme “Water Management for the Development and the Sustenance of Life”
2012 Conference Held
The Ghana Institution of Engineers held its 2012 Annual National Conference on Wednesday March 28 – 30, 2012, at the Conference Hall at the Engineers Centre. The theme for the conference was “Water Management for the Development and Sustenance of Life”
The Chairman for the occasion was Ing. Albert Ayeh Ogyiri, President of the Ghana Institution of Engineers.
GhIE Holds 7th Induction Ceremony for New Members
Eighty one (81) New Members out of one hundred and sixteen (116) Inductees were Inducted into the Ghana Institution of Engineers as Members by the President of the GhIE, Albert Ayeh Ogyiri,FGhIE. The Inductees comprised engineers from Civil, Chemical/Mining, Mechanical/Agricultural/Marine and Electrical / Electronic Technical Divisions.
